What this directory is

Malaysia Air Conditioning Contractor Guide is a working directory of 495 air conditioning contractor businesses across Malaysia. It exists for homeowners, property managers, and business owners who need to shortlist a contractor for installation, servicing, or repair without wading through scattered listings and inconsistent reviews. Rather than asking you to trust marketing copy, we build each profile from public business data and a synthesis of recent Google reviews, then score it against a fixed rubric so every contractor on the site is measured the same way.

We don’t republish review text. Where review sentiment informs a score, we link out to the business’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself and judge the source directly.

How rankings actually work

Every ranking on this site comes from data and a published scoring method, not from payment. The full breakdown of what we measure and how it’s weighted is laid out on our methodology page, so nothing about a contractor’s position is a black box.

A business that appears here can flag and correct factual details about itself: address, phone number, service area, hours, that kind of thing. What it cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment reading, or its place in the ranking. Those stay independent of the business being listed, which is the entire point of a comparison resource.

Sponsorship, plainly

Some listings on this site are sponsored, and when that’s the case, it’s labelled “Sponsored” and displayed in a separate section from the earned rankings. Sponsorship buys visibility, not rank. It never changes a score or moves a business up the earned list.

About the enquiry side of this site

Malaysia Air Conditioning Contractor Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource, and we’re upfront that we also generate enquiries for local providers. When you ask to be matched with someone, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request, and we may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed again on the quote page itself, and it never touches scores or earned rankings. The ranking logic and the enquiry logic are kept apart on purpose.

Who publishes this and who checks it

This directory is published by Meridian Guides, which has been building independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia since 2025. Meridian Guides doesn’t sell ranking positions; contractors earn their spot through review-based scores, and sponsorship is always labelled separately. Editorial oversight of the rankings sits with John, Editor. John maintains the rubric application and reviews flagged corrections across the directory.

Listing data is refreshed monthly across the whole directory, and each individual profile carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see exactly when it was last checked rather than assume the whole site was updated on some fixed schedule.
