Raco Subang has built a strong reputation for affordable aircon installation and parts stocking over several years, with most reviewers noting fair pricing and good service. A recent complaint about counter staff rudeness and poor follow-up on a delayed order signals a shift, suggesting service quality may have slipped despite the overall 4.5-star rating.
Recent experience shows conflicting service: one customer was quoted oversized equipment (6HP for 550 sqft retail) without proper diagnosis, while older reviews praised reasonable rates and quality work. The business lacks consistency.

Customers return repeatedly for work that gets done fast and fair. The owner and technicians diagnose honestly, explain clearly, and often waive small jobs like bulb replacements and inspections instead of padding the bill. Dashcam installation, car electronics fixes, and routine servicing dominate the reviews. Staff respond immediately to calls, finish simple jobs in minutes, and build trust by putting the customer's actual need ahead of revenue. The Ss 14 Subang Jaya location draws locals who appreciate a neighbourhood workshop that treats them as people, not transactions.
Across 316 reviews, AC Air Pro earns consistent five-star praise for rapid turnaround, clear communication, and tidy job sites. Technicians arrive on schedule, diagnose issues quickly, and explain problems plainly before fixing them. The team works weekends and serves the Subang Jaya, Sunway, and USJ areas with no reported delays or quality issues. Pricing sits firmly in the affordable range, and customers return repeatedly for both repair and maintenance work.
Across 44 reviews, Chandoo Aircond earns consistent five-star ratings for speedy installations and repairs backed by courteous, knowledgeable technicians. Regular customers highlight Mr. Khairul's willingness to solve problems after the job ends and his pricing that justifies repeat business since 2016.
Reviewers consistently praise Syamil and Afiq for quick, clean work at fair prices. Response times are fast, and when technicians arrive, they explain problems clearly and tidy up afterward. Customers report cold units and grateful returns to the service. However, a pattern of no-shows and delayed communication undermines trust. Multiple customers lost work days waiting with no call, no message, and no ETA offered after missing appointments. One reviewer noted trash and tape left on walls. These lapses sit uneasily alongside the business's otherwise strong execution.
Work quality is consistently strong. Nasir, Anjum, and their team arrive on time, handle both servicing and repairs smoothly, and charge fairly. The friction point is admin: one customer reported being denied an invoice unless they left five stars, leaving them without proof of service for their landlord. Most bookings fit tight schedules without fuss. Chemical wash, drain repairs, and installation all get thumbs-up. If you need a receipt or formal documentation, confirm upfront that invoicing will be straightforward.
All 15 recent reviews give five stars. Reviewers consistently praise rapid response times, punctual arrivals, and technicians who explain their work clearly. The standout theme is honesty: one reviewer noted the team inspected four units but charged only for the one needing service, turning down unnecessary work. Installation and servicing both receive praise for neat, clean outcomes with thorough post-job cleanup.
