Compare 127 aircon installation contractors in Puchong. What the job involves, what to check before you hire, and how our ranking works.
Aircon installation covers putting in a new split-unit or multi-split system, replacing an old unit, or adding capacity to a room that never had one. The job includes mounting the indoor and outdoor units, running refrigerant piping and drainage, wiring into your electrical supply, vacuum-testing the line for leaks, and charging the system with refrigerant before handover. In Puchong's mix of terrace houses, apartments, and shoplots, installers also deal with wall thickness, riser access in high-rises, and bracket placement on external ledges, all of which affect price and how long the job takes.
We list 127 aircon installation businesses serving the Puchong area, ranging from one-person outfits to established teams with multiple crews. Quality varies a lot in this trade because so much of the work (pipe insulation, vacuum pressure testing, brazing joints) is hidden once the unit is boxed up, so a bad job can look fine for months before it leaks or underperforms.
Our scoring pulls together review volume, rating consistency, and how responsive a business is, so you can compare contractors on more than star rating alone. For a ranked shortlist of the top performers in this category, see our best air conditioning contractors in Puchong guide. Full detail on how we calculate scores is on the methodology page.

129 businesses, scored on recent reviews. The order weighs each business's overall score by how much of its reviewed work is aircon installation, so a lower-scored specialist can rank above a higher-scored generalist.
Fast response and professional workmanship at fair prices define the service here. Mr. Abu handles aircon installation and repair alongside electrical and plumbing issues, delivering neat work with clear explanations. Quick turnaround and reliable results are the norm here.
Most customers praise speedy repairs and fair prices, often completed same-day or within 24 hours. Staff member Ali stands out for competence and straightforward advice. One significant complaint highlights delayed communication and a cracked back cover discovered only after payment, though partial compensation was offered and the core repair succeeded. The business primarily handles TV repairs but also offers aircon installation and emergency callout services. Reviewers mention Samsung backlight replacements and power supply fixes specifically. Warranty coverage (typically one month post-repair) and same-evening service availability appear standard.
Most visits go smoothly. Technicians like Michael and James show up on time or early, explain the work clearly, and complete jobs quickly without upselling unnecessary service. Communication breaks down when problems arise: one customer reported foul gas smell after washing and received no response despite multiple contact attempts, then paid hundreds for a fix elsewhere. The team follows standard procedures and welcomes questions before finalizing work. Pricing draws praise as reasonable. Arrival times slip occasionally due to booking volume, not poor planning. Regular customers report symptom relief from thorough cleaning and feel confident recommending the service.
Speed and value dominate reviewer experience. Work is clean, staff explain problems clearly, and turnaround is quick even for same-day bookings. Technicians named Ahsan, Shahbaz, and Shahid are singled out for professionalism. Long-term customers describe consistent, top-notch service over many years.
Reviewers consistently report prompt, polished service from named technicians Rilwan, Fariz, and Putra, who diagnose faults clearly, fix them efficiently, and leave work areas spotless. Repeat customers highlight the team's respectful manner, reasonable rates, and willingness to teach maintenance tips during or after the job.

Technician Sathis is named repeatedly for neat service, honest diagnostics, and clear explanations before starting jobs. Customers appreciate the combination of professional quality, friendly demeanor, and fair pricing that makes them return and recommend to friends. Services span servicing with deep cleaning, gas refills and leak checks, repair of broken units, and installation of new systems. Mr Mok and his team handle leaks, gas refills, chemical cleans, and preventive work without hidden charges or upselling, earning repeated trust. Staff communicate clearly before and after jobs. Customers praise punctuality, politeness, and willingness to go beyond the stated repair (one review mentions unsolicited HVAC duct checks). Rates are described as reasonable and fair. No complaints recorded.
Fast appointments, tidy crews, straightforward pricing: Eco Aircond typically completes jobs in one visit with minimal fuss. Staff explain what's broken and what costs extra before proceeding, and arrive on schedule most days. Technicians handle multi-unit jobs and chemical washes with speed and attention to detail. Reviewers name En Aizul, Mr. Tham, and Mr. Kenny by reputation. One householder flagged workers not wiping surfaces after they leave, a reminder that expectations vary by client.
Every review is five stars. Customers praise technicians for speed, cleanliness, and explaining problems clearly. One reviewer had a botched install elsewhere; AJ Cooler diagnosed and rebuilt it professionally, then cleaned the site thoroughly. Repeat customers return for service; staff keep to appointment times and charge fairly. Work ranges from single repairs to multi-unit residential jobs in Puchong, Setia Alam, Teluk Kemang, and Shah Alam. Reviewers highlight that technicians teach you about your air conditioning rather than upsell needlessly, and staff arrive on schedule.
All three recent reviews praise efficient work and service quality, though detail is limited. Powercool holds a perfect 5-star rating across seven Google reviews.
Quick Aircond Repair Services arrives on time and fixes units fast, often diagnosing problems other shops missed. The business handles emergency calls reliably and accommodates last-minute requests.

Most customers report noticeably better cooling and quieter operation after service, with technicians arriving on time and working methodically through multiple units without rushing. One early customer felt pressured into a RM150 diagnosis fee and refused a routine cleaning when a compressor issue was flagged, describing the experience as a waste of money. Staff communicate clearly about what they find and charge transparently for multi-unit jobs. The company handles leaks, vibration, noise, and routine maintenance consistently, showing customers the dirt removed and explaining filter maintenance. Technicians keep work areas clean and complete jobs within stated timeframes.
Most jobs are done quickly and arrive on schedule, with clean workmanship and prices reviewers describe as reasonable. The installation team generally leaves sites neat, and named technician Ramesh responds to messages promptly and shows up the next day when needed. A few recent customers report the service falls apart after the job is done. Staff turn appointments around fast even at unusual hours like midnight, though the spread between five-star and one/two-star ratings suggests inconsistency in follow-up and aftercare. Reviewers praise the speed and final result, but complaints hint that the team does not keep in touch if problems emerge later.
Most reviewers praise rapid responses, reasonable prices, and professional workmanship across repairs and maintenance. Some customers report hidden charges, incomplete inspections, and recurring issues post-service, suggesting inconsistent quality on the problematic jobs.
Strong reviews highlight quick response, skilled installers who work neatly and test thoroughly, and competitive pricing on Daikin units. Two complaints mention upfront payment demands, appointment changes without notice, and perceived attempts to overcharge, though the weight of evidence suggests these are outliers among 32 reviews.
Mr Goh delivers reliable repair and servicing across Puchong, earning consistent five-star praise for fair pricing, timely arrivals, and skilled work. Customers value his honesty and willingness to explain problems clearly.
AirCond service and electrical delivers consistently high-quality work centred on honest diagnosis and fair pricing. Technician Mr Vishva has built strong trust by solving problems others missed, keeping work sites clean, and refusing unnecessary upsells-notably refusing gas refills when maintenance schedules do not require them.
Han On stands out as a parts supplier and installation partner with strong repeat-purchase appeal. Staff explain options clearly without pressure, inventory is extensive, and transactions run smoothly from quote to delivery. A single old complaint about service damage casts a minor shadow, but the weight of recent feedback underscores reliability and fair value.
Five-star reviews consistently highlight competitive prices, friendly staff, and honest diagnostics with no hidden add-ons. However, a cluster of one-star complaints spanning the past year document unresponsive quoting (ghosting for weeks), delayed updates, and warranty issues within months of purchase. The split between loyal repeat customers and frustrated prospects seeking quotes suggests sales service outperforms follow-up.
All six reviews award five stars. Reviewers highlight quick responses, neat workmanship, and staff willingness to accommodate special requests or fix anything on the spot. Pricing is noted as competitive compared to other cleaning services.
MR TH handles aircon installation and repair with speed and attention to detail. PureCool wins praise for professional, timely work at fair rates. A significant caveat: warranty claims prove difficult to navigate, and an older complaint flags trouble reaching the business by phone.
Strong older reviews praise friendly staff and competitive pricing, but recent reviews expose serious installation failures. A missing earthing line in a 2022 installation caused electrical damage costing the customer over RM1,100 in repairs. Poor follow-up and lack of accountability remain concerns.

Carrier's after-sales experience splits sharply: early responses and warranty claims under two days sit alongside months of silence after inspections. Recent complaints centre on no quotes, chased for months, and compressor defects going unresolved while others praise technician Lim's professionalism when service does happen.
Most recent reviews praise TS Air-Cond for skilled installation and fair pricing, with customers returning for repeat work. However, older reviews document serious issues: units damaged during servicing, technician rudeness, inconsistent diagnoses, and no callbacks after complaints. The gap between recent praise and historical problems suggests either real change or shifting reviewer demographics. Service consistency appears uneven.
Reviewers describe a go-to shop for affordable air conditioning units and installation work. Staff receive consistent praise for helpfulness, and customers specifically note competitive pricing as a draw.
One customer bought Daikin units at RM2,200 and got same-day install by 3pm. Another scheduled six days ahead but the technician no-showed; when eventually serviced, water was left dripping onto flooring, filters washed with pressure hose instead of jet, and the work area not cleaned. Evidence is limited to two reviews.
